remote central locking

I have a 19964 which has the total closure locking from the key (closes windows etc while held in door lock in lock position)

does anyone know the best / cheapest way to upgrade to remote locking?

I had an aftermarket kit which has now gone kaput! it piggybaked/spliced into the locking pump and had a key that looked the same as standard audi one

but cannot find another one??

it has been suggested that it is possible to fit the later pump to the earlier cars but ive yet to find out exactly how much work is required.

For the costs involved it does seem that one of those kits for £27 is going to be the best option.

I purchased one from VAGParts.com for about £100
Connected directly into the wiring for the C/L pump and works a treat.

Ok being a tight git, so I have ordered one from ebay which has the flip keys same as newer audi's
I'll let you know how I get on
