Looking at getting my 2.0 tdi 170 remapped, just wondering where is best to go etc.

Given your location, AMD is down the road.

Would suggest gutting the DPF and blanking the EGR at the same time.
Mine was done by Unicorn; it transformed the car.

Given your location, AMD is down the road.

As NHN has said.....AMDTuning is about 30 minutes away.

They built the engine on mine......that should say enough for the work.

If keeping the DPF, you can only go to 185 safely on the 170 engine.

Would the 15 increase really be worthwhile/noticeable for the cost?

IMO - no. You have to be very conservative with the AFR in order not to get any possibility of soot build up which will soon clog the DPF. That means you are limited to the amount of diesel you can inject, or, you run lots of boost - which means turbo reliability is compromised.
