remap help

Just had a remap and dpf removal done on my pd170 brd at VagTune in Aylesbury. Had it done a week now and I have a few things that are niggling me.
Under boost it still puffs out a little bit of smoke but doesn't look black
And I have real bad turbo whistle also the chatter from the dv is really loud.
My engine is standard apart from the map. So is this normal

Turbo whistle could be for instance' Clamp loose. gasket broken and so on. the turbo chatter could also be down to the remap. thats just guessing from your description but in honestly take it back and tell who done it

There is no Dump valve on these they have a VNT mechanism.As the VNT opens and closes it does cause a chatter /chirping noise, seems more noticeable when cold.
Is the whistle similar to this


The DPF acts like a very good silencer and blocks a lot of this noise, as you have now removed that you now get more of an exhaust note.
As above if you are not happy with the way it is take it back. They should be able to tweak the smoke map to reduce fuelling on boost which will get rid of the smoke but it won't pick up as well.
