I will never understand why people put performance exhausts on diesels... There's a ****** escort van around my area with some 15 year old, curbed to death, wolfrace alloys on it with a straight through exhaust, it actually sounds like a tractor! Each to their own though I guess...

The exhaust sounds quiet good for a diesel, mines a V6 so has an extra bit of umph I'll dig the original video out and let you decide if it sounds like a tractor, I may not have the rev range of a petrol but 300ish bhp and 440 lbs/ft of torque take care of most other cars where I am

i had a 306td 1.9 back when i was young and insurance was a killer saying that im only 25 haha, i had a powerflow made for that with a bigger down pipe, water injection, front mount, turned up fuel and turbo, boosting at 24psi etc, the thing was a rocket. that sounded dirty with the exhaust on it, pure wistle and gurgling!

I should have been clearer... 4 cylinder diesels sound like tractors

Have you heard the V10 TDI with a straight through exhaust? Sounds AWESOME! B)

Thanks again, it now has a new twin air intake and "wooshes" and hisses like mad, I'll do another run and video it, just need a quiet road to do it
