Reconnected Forge 007 seems down on power

I was checking the fluids in my car yesterday and noticed the vacuum line on top of the forge dv was split. It was just sitting on top of the valve. I trimmed the hose and reconnected it, the car is running fine but seems to be down on power. The push from the turbo seems to be missing, still quick but lacking something.
Would a sticking forge 007 cause this, the valve could have been disconnected for a while as the car is a weekend toy.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Check the function and sealing capability of the dump valve

Thanks for your reply Karl, how do I check if the valve will seal and will I have to remove it from the car to check it, I take I just remove the three hoses and hose clips if it needs to be removed.

Remove the dv and place hand over one inlet and thumb on vacuum, push piston inside from the bottom to see if there is movement.
