As the title really, what would you recommend for me to vacuum out my car? What do you use?

I'm more after mains plug and not a 12v plugged on. And don't want to spend too much, but am open on price.

Also want to use it on the roof, as I have a cabriolet.

Thanks, Matt.

@mattmanwrx - How about a refurbed Karcher direct from Karcher?

Can't beat this one for under £30 IMO

Just a thought ...

I didn't know karcher did vacs. And for that price I don't think I can go wrong. Wet vacuuming too which will help me with my roof.

Think I might go for that one, as even if it is pants it is only 30 quid. And the extra 6 month warranty is only £9, so yea, I will purchase that.

Thanks @Bristle Hound

I bought one of those Karcher ones for the garage so i wasn't dragging the Dyson out. It's good for the money, had it 18 month with no problems and picks up well. I'm sure there are better vacuum cleaners out there but not for under £30.

Only slight niggle is that mine doesn't have a self retracting plug cord. Not a big problem but would have been nice.

Mine is being delivered tomorrow. Only ordered it yesterday. Will be washing my car on Friday (weather permitting) so I can also post a quick review too.

I actually bought 2 as my friend wanted one and we saved on 2 shipping costs. So have to find props to @Bristle Hound from me and my friend lol

Put the Karcher together and gave it a trial run on the back door mat. Very powerful suction, should do well. Also I see it copes with rubble so going to try that later on some building work leftovers hiding in a cubby hole in the house.

Recommended for £30 plus delivery!

Thanks for a quick review there Scotty. Mine has literally just arrived, well, one of them. The other is on a different van. Will test mine out soon.

Thanks Donfresh. Have already bought the Karcher one, and it was only £30, so can't really go wrong. It will only be used to vacuum the carpets mats and the roof once a month or so, so £30 suited me brilliantly. Although that vax in John Lewis has a 2 year warranty so makes it a very very good price.

So £30 refurbished Karcher vac vs. rumble left by helpful tradesmen. This should do well for getting the dirt and small stones out of the car. And yes my Saturdays are always this exciting. :D

I totally recommend vacuuming at the self service if it's not often.. i mean the power is SO STRONG. it's really worth it..i would try washing at home if you have a strong enough pressure hose.. or you could buy one.. (hose attachments)

Parkside 1300 wet and dry vac sucks up your house If your not careful and move the hose becomes a blower for the knocks and crannies like the wheel nuts
