Next step is getting them fitted, the rear seems pretty straight forward will do this at the weekend. The front i m gonna leave to my Audi techie friend

Damn all this time i put off buying ARBs cas I thought they cost loads.

Shame as I am selling the '3' now so I'll probably never experience what the car feels like with these on.

Didn't Ess_Three recommend not upgrading to R32 arb's if planning on staying with OEM dampers? (sure I read it on one of his threads somewhere)

Not FWD A3's mate... R32 is a 'quattro' so its ARB's will only fit quattro A3's and S3's

Fitted front and rear R32 arbs to my S3 last week would advise that you only need to order the bars and bushes from VW, i just reused original bolts and bush clips from the S3. S3 bush clips and R32 bush clips are different so if you want new clips order S3 ones. Handling was vastly improved on the standard suspension for the week ...........now even better fitted B8'S and eibachs yesterday

When I went to VW they were abour £220 for everything listed above, your price is very good. I will be going down the R32 route when I finially get to it lol

Well guys i fitted the rear anti roll bar today pretty straight forward, unbolt the backbox hangers (4 bolts) & unhook the centre section rubber hanger (your ll need to support the exhaust system). Then unbolt the heat shield (4 bolts) & remove. Next step is to unbolt each end of the ARB (do this before removing the centre clamps) then unbolt the centre clamps. Put eveything back in reverse order simples !

The only issues i came accross was that the clamps i ordered (below) dont have the heat shield bolts coming off the end they were useless, i just used the orignals which werent in to bad shape. You also need to order more bolts than i did but you can use the originals (only needed on the rear, i dont know about the front).
