RECARO's... what ones to go for?

Hey guys,..

looking at potentially changing the front seats on my motor and wondering what ones to go for?not sure what ones will be a direct fit if any so any links or advice would be appreciated...

You want S3 recaros, they are OEM and the prettiest by a mile, like mine (although mine are RS4)

the OEM S3's are nice, but i'm partial to the Recaro A8s. there's more support on the shoulders and i prefer the way they look. and with your Ice Blue car get them in white with Ice Blue colour coded backs and they'll look mint...

N8 do you mind if i ask how much you paid MJ for your retrim? i've got part leather S-Line seats and was wanting full leather with red double stitching

thanks guys..... N8 mind me asking what the seats are like in regards to moving them forward and back as obviously I have a 3 door so wanna check if they are a pain in the **** or not... cheers buddy.... oh and how much did you actually pay for the recaros before the retrim?..

My car is a SB and the seats are RS4s from a saloon so I don't have any trouble with access. But the 3door S3 ones are a right swine to move backwards and forwards, any S3 owner with them who says otherwise is a liar. I paid £1700 for full RS4 interior and sold all the other bits along with my front seats so it worked out quite well overall.

Have been well busy all weekend. Am now in Manchester in a pub bout to go to utd vs Newcastle. All I can say is buckets seats are amazing.. Change drive of the car! And nath I'm gonna do something cool around Xmas time with them..

I'm thinking buckets wouldn't work out in my 3 door car as I'd probably explode if someone was to scuffed my interiror with their boots trying to get in and out.
