rear wiper removal ?

Hi Guys and Girls !

wanting to to this tomorrow so any help would be great ! , any guides etc ?? also where i can get the right blanking plug / what size ?? thanks

Think size is 25mm (1inch) but can buy correct blanking plug in glass from:

Heckwischerabdeckung aus Glas - Stopfen - Glas - Glasstopfen für Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda - Wischerlochabdeckung, Heckwischerabdeckung, de-wipering plug

[HIGGINS]

* Undo the nut that holds the wiper arm on and remove (outside)
* Unclip the plastic underside of the tailgate and remove completely (Follow this guide http://www.fleagle.org.uk/a3-rear-washwipe)
* Unclip the electrics
* Unplug the water hose -(I folded and cable tied mine)
* Undo the nuts holding the motor on and remove.
* Plug the hole with a 25mm Grommet fron Halfrauds (they sell them as an Ariel grommet?) Some people use silicone to seal it
* Put the plastic underside trim back on.


Stand back and enjoy the smoothness...
