I need to replace the rear wiper motor on my A3 2007 hatchback (2.0 diesel, S line).

I've found a Valeo 579603 on Amazon

Amazon product

Is this the correct part?
Is there a better alternative?
Are the cheaper ones as good or better or worse?

Thanks in advance

The Valeo 579603 is the OEM part.
If you bought a wiper motor from an Audi dealer it would be the same Valeo item in a Genuine Parts box but costing a lot more ££££.
I replaced mine back in 2016 and the Valeo motor I bought (from Amazon too btw) was identical in every way to the factory motor that came off, they’re made in Spain by Valeo and appear to have a working life of around 10 years if you’re lucky , less if you’re not.
The no-name motors are trash , buy cheap , buy twice is a motto I believe in when it comes to auto parts.

Decent price. I paid 75 at euro car parts but only because I wanted to pick one up there and then as it was making a right old mess of my boot.

I've got a Kill All Wipers delete on mine, looks clean.
