Rear window wiper

Can anybody help me out, I have a 2006 A3 2.0 TDI S Line, the rear wiper is having a hissy fit, as soon as the ignition is on it wont stop, even when the steering column stalk is in the off postion, ive checked the fuse (which is fine) and disconnected the battery but that didnt clear it. Someone told me it ight be the relay? any ideas?

Mine started doing this when it was dying, it would go a bit then stop, then go half way then stop even when turned off, ended up buying a new one cos it was knackered when i took it off to inspect, all rusty inside

What was rusty mate was it the motor?

Some of the motor and all of the internals when i took it to bits, wasn't worth getting involved. Went to the scrap yard and got a second hand wiper the went to Audi and ordered the bushes and stuff and replaced them in the second hand one so i knew it would be ok, they're only £8 or something
