Help Please Rear washer jet annoyance!

Nothing major, thankfully! But has anyone had issues with their rear washer jet where it just stops working?

I’ve been through three of them, the last bought a couple of years ago, I’ve tested it without the washer jet and the screen wash does get pumped out so I know it’s not the pipes and I use the Audi screw wash so it can’t be that…

Just annoying as I’ve tried to fix the previous two and ended up just buying a new one but don’t want to keep buying one every two years!

You chaps had any luck keeping them going for longer?

Without regular use they just block through corrosion or the screenwash crystallising. Common across most models. Stupid prices for a tiny part too!

I’m on my 3rd set of rear jets. Also the pipe it clips onto is quite rusty.

I removed mine, gave the nozzle/jets a god soak in warm soapy water & then got a sewing needle & pushed that through the ''washer jets'' . Refitted & works perfect, this was a dead easy job on my RS6 C7

I have too clean mine regularly got a tool from Halfords for a few quid which works well.
