Rear seat removal

How do you remove the rear seats from an avant and can you just remove the base on its own without the folding back section?

To remove the bench part simply pull upwards sharply. The backrest section is seperate

unless the seat bottom is split also if so then flip it up and you will see where the fixings are to remove

if single then as above pull up from each end and its out.
