Rear passenger door won’t lock

I was wondering if anyone can help me out, my right rear passenger door on my 2006 Audi A3 won’t lock, even though I lock my car, that one door won’t lock. I haven’t checked anything out yet because this is my first time working on an Audi, so this is a bit of a learning game for me, I’d appreciate the help, thanks

 

Check for broken wires in the rubber door hinge boot otherwise could be the door lock faulty, that is also common.

If it is the lock that has broken you are lucky. Sometimes they break and won’t unlock - nightmare!

 

Oh lol I guess I am then, but at the same time I’m not because I park my car in the street and I’m afraid of getting my things stolen
