Rear Number Plate Mounts.

Can the rear plate mounts in the boot lid be replaced, mine seems to have gone slightly rusty

As long as you can still screw into them I wouldn't worry. Could do more damage than good trying to replace them.

That must be rust from the screw because that’s Like a plastic fastener/ gromet type thing and I think they just pop out and you can just pop a new one in

As above. The insert will be plastic. If you cannot get stainless steel screws to fix the number plate then put a dab of vaseline in the holes to protect [part of] the screw form rust.

At the edge just and slowly prise it out

And hope it doesn't snap and drop inside the body, the rattle could drive you mad Don't fix what's not broken
