Rear door exterior triangle removal.

I've looked into this and it seems easy enough.....but for anyone that has done this, have you any tips to make life easier on the removal?

Following, mine needs removing and wrapping as its started to corrode.

Takes a while and can be fiddly but nothing too hard about it. Not many tips other than take your time especially when peeling back the foam lining sealer thing that's glued to the door behing the panel as it's easily torn.

that's probably why it corrodes can the foam soak up and hold water behind it ?

What holds it on then?

A screw on the inside of the door. When I get time to remove them I'll take a pic or two.
