I would have thought there will be a cover to cover the hole. So much crud and crap could get up there.
Guess that’s the hole that’s missing on the s3 diffuser for tow bar. Been trying to get one for s3 to carry bikes, not to tow, but no one seems to make them without some cutting and shutting.

It doesn't look as though anything is missing, but that visible bare wiring loom (un taped) and the fact that your parking sensors do not fit flush suggest that your PDC are a retrofit and some one has had the bumper off at some stage, that cable wants checking and securing correctly for me.

Looks like it’s been resprayed. There’s a bit of orange peel effect to the paint

Yeah, that’s what I was correcting out when I spotted the hole. PDC was spec‘d from new according to ’my Audi’.

Just doesn’t look right at the moment, I agree with AlS3BE that some sort of cover would offer some protection.

Thanks Potterswheel, it goes into my mates garage on Friday for a full inspection whilst under warranty, so I’ve already asked him to take a look beneath the skirt. :hopelessness:

They added the hole to allot of newer cars, saves them creating multiple valance, bumper models like older chassis's, as you can't see it unless you drive with your head under the rear bumper, it's not something I would be concerned about, it's hidden
