Decided not to let being In isolation go to waste and the sun is shining

Easy little job to do.

Jack up / lift the car so it’s level

Locate the fill / drain plugs.
Use a 5mm Hex to undo the fill plug first then the drain plug

Let the litre of Axle oil drain out

Fill up your chosen method of getting the new oil into the Diff, I use this Draper filling tool.

Push the end into the top fill hole and pump away until the litre is in the Diff.

Once you reach the bottom it’ll gently start to trickle out the bottom of the fill hole so stop and put the fill plug back in, clean up around the area of both plugs and you are done.

I think the car is over serviced as I’d done the Haldex and DSG at 15k already.

However being in self isolation means trying to keep busy

Hi,is it the same oil for the haldex and the diff.or is there 2 different ones.?

Did the Haldex and DSG oil change at the dealers last November. I'm just curios, is the white DSG filter changed by default in the included DSG service, or did I had to emphasize that I want it changed too?

With Audi who knows...........

You'd like to think they changed it

I did the Haldex service at Audi (change of fluid) a few months ago, and since then the car developed a sort of a whine.
I went to an independent garage today, they pulled out the Haldex pump and cleaned it. This is how it looked (before cleaning :)):
