Rear diff help!

So blew my rear diff up, got it changed but like a melon fitted one with a gen 4 Haldex so now the car is only fwd, as the car won’t talk to the Haldex! Is it possible to have it coded to talk to it or is there a way to make it work? Or am I going to have to get a new diff with a gen2 Haldex?

As far as I'm aware and the research i done when considering upgrading to gen4 you require a diff haldex module, different and module and pump and different coding... probably not worth the hassle, I have a spare gen2 diff that was bought as a replacement but it was binding when turning corners, however I only filled up the haldex oil and never checked the actual diff oil, I can check and see tonight it may be an easy fix

Use genuine VAG Diff oil if you are going to drain it and re-fill.
I drained my TB oil when I first got my S3 and replaced with Millers. It failed soon after, and when a replacement TB arrived we used VW diff oil and it's been perfect.
