just upgraded the fronts on my a3 1.8t quattro to s3 iteams, my rears are now due to be replaced ie disks an pads, just wonderd if i could upgrade the size of the disks using oem brackets from another car? is it posible? how about s3 rears? or are they the same?

You can put the S3 rears on it, they have vented discs rather than the solid ones on the A3. Don't know that it would really make that much difference as most of the braking is from the front of the car!
Vented S3 rears dont fit on a FWD A3......
The heat shield and the caliper bracket stop the thicker disc from going on.

keep it standard its not worth spending the extra cash on something that makes little difference.

First of all, he has a 1.8T Quattro, and second, you need S3 calipers on the rear for vented disks.
