Rear brake light bulb :/

I noticed as I inserted the key into my car this morning that a warning light came on advising me to change the rear left brake bulb. As I opened the boot on my car to change the bulb I noticed that the screw head to access the brakelight had been bored out...the screwdriver cannot remove it, any advice on what to do? Many thanks
