Tidied up my rear discs today, got rid of the rust on the hub and repainted. V pleased with the results. Before, during and after pics below. Used high temp Canbrush paint.

Looks great - bet the paint was dry in a blink in this heat

Nice tidy job mate... always a nice feeling when you’ve done it yourself too :icon thumright:

Rubbed it back as much as I could then used some rust converter (pic below).

Nice work! :icon thumright:
Did the same on my car.

I've got some bad experiences with high temp rattle can brake disc renovation but wanted to try a new brand this time. Removed the discs and had them sand blasted before painting. Then let the paint dry 12 hours before baking the in the oven, happy girlfriend.

Been almost two months now and it's holding up really good. No signs of rust or faded/peeling paint.

Looks very smart, what paint did you use ??

I didnt do the outside edge on my discs, might have to do that another time as it looks good.

I recently did my rear hubs ( not brake discs / calipers ) ... but used this. Prevously on another car had used the brushable paint, but the spray version of Hammerite Smooth produces a neater finish and is quicker to apply albeit it takes longer to mask up surrounding area.

But well worth doing in my eyes. Jungle
