Holy moly. Standard handbrake might have helped there.

 

Lesson learnt, don’t build 1100bhp race cars in your garage on axle stands with stuff bought on the net. Leave it to the pros.

Was the Chassis ever meant to handle this much torque?

a 400hp car is a death trap... what would you need that kind of power for? track days aside...

Not the first and won’t be the last big build to end like this.

 

Scary stuff and its good to see no one was hurt .

Turns out the hpfp fuel lines had ruptured or wasn’t connected properly or something, it wasn’t the cars fault. Unfortunate accident but the only damage was only to someones wallet and luckily no persons.

As for people questioning why 1100bhp, welcome to America were the bigger is better

 

Any car is a death trap if not driven appropriately. Blame the driver, not the car.
