Just got 4 new PS4 tyres all around and suddenly i'm getting this whirring/whining sound when off accelerator, as soon as I put load on the engine it goes. Most noticeable if accelerate to 35mph and then step of the accelerator and coast down. I've had 4 wheel alignment done and so i'm unsure why this has flared up suddenly.
Is it likely to be rear diff and if so why is is happening? Sawtooth? I remember when i had just 2 new front with different tyres on back it sounded kind of similar.
