re-gassing air con unit

Hi All

Has any one re-charged their air con unit by getting the charging canistor from Halfords. If so is it easy and where does the feed go into.

You should have 2 pipes with Black cover caps with valves underneath, not sure where becasue you have an A3, mine were just below the drivers side windscreen wiper. Just unscrew the cap off the bigger of the pipes and thats the valve you use to 'top up'. Simple!

Excellent, sounds like a simple task.

I've just changed the pollen filter and treated the system to one of those Comma air con cleaning canisters, much better but a slight 'damp' smell on start up, are there anymore filters that I need to change? If not, anyone got any ideas why?
