Radiator/Intercooler replacement?

Hi Guys,

Merry Christmas, I hope Father Christmas brought you all the toys you wanted!

Today whilst changing my reg plates to my private reg I noticed behind the bumper what looks like the radiator (although I'm not sure if it's the inter cooler) it looks in poor condition. The 'fins' on the radiator look corroded and missing in places. I want to replace it but I am unsure if it is the radiator or the inter cooler? Could anyone help me out please? I don't want to take the bumper off to check as its a b**ch to take off and put on, I only want to take it off once to replace it!

My car is a 2010 2.0 tdi Audi A3 8p sportback.

Merry Christmas!
The radiator you can see through the grill should be the aircon radiator.
They tend to take a hammering but as long as your aircons working it's fine.

Nice one marshy! I've got to take the bumper off this week anyway to fit parking sensors (the misses can't drive) so I can have a propper look at it and maybe check the condition of the radiator and the intercooler?

If the aircons working just give it a quick spray of black paint to tidy it up.
Intercoolers and radiators tend to fair well as they're not exposed to the weather like the front one.

It seems to be working fine but tbh speaking of air con I got a service and re-gas today off groupon for £20! I thought for the price of it I may aswell have it re-gassed
