Hi. I have a 2003 S3. Can anyone help me as my radiator fans are not turning on even when the car gets to 110 deg? I have had the cam belt changed recently and the old water pump was fine?

Any ideas?

thanks
matt

Make sure there is enough coolant in the radiator. I have noticed if you dont fill the radiator up, the fans don't kick. It must cause an air bubble that has no where to go.
The fans only kick in when the sensor on the radiator tells them to start.
The coolant sensor near the cylinder head gives you temperature of the coolant on the engine side of the thermostat,

I topped the coolant up a few times after the cam belt change.

I will have a look at the fuse too. Do you know which one it is?

I had the same problem. As already said the fuse on top of the battery. Mine was corroded and not making contact, easy fix!
