Quick question around oil burn survival...

I'm out of the tolerance range... and I have been topping up weekly (around 300ml) / I am driving around 250 miles a week.
Does the engine have much chance of survival at this rate of oil burn??

It's clear that the piston rings are at fault. Could I survive another 3,000 or so miles or is this an urgent repair?

Thank you.

No leaks found by mechanic and second opinion also sought.
Leak tested twice.

Can of BG MOA has slowed down the oil consumption.
Failed Oil Consumption test at Audi.

Waiting for Audi to make a decision about what they can do.
Want to know in the mean time if it is okay to keep topping up the oil... for a few months and just get rid of it.

Removing the head this weekend... to investigate if it is piston rings and if it is then pretty sure Audi will not remedy this as out of warranty. Want to know though... not going to go into too much detail as have a seperate thread on oil burn already started.
