Q7 Q7 2014 Sports edition headlamp LEDs not working

Hi Guys,

Need some advice. Passenger side headlamp LEDs have stopped working. Getting quotes of £1050 for supply and fit. I have been reading about faulty modules but not sure when to check.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Prob just the module which houses the led has stopped working. A simple scan with vcds should highlight the issue. I'd suspect that the case. Mine went on my Q5 and it was a about £160 for the part. Managed to change it myself and saved a similar bill to what you've been quoted.

I'd certainly start there than entertain a new headlight, which is almost certainly what's being priced for that money. HTH
