Q5 mods

Hi peeps


I’ve got an q5 3.0tdi 240bhp


I’ve had it remapped an upgraded air filter


Its at about 300bhp rolling road


Is there any other option to push it a bit further in terms of power

quite a wide ranging question: dpeneds what your budget is, what exhaust sound you are looking for, where you live etc etc.
Milltek are on of the main/best aftermarket, and dealers all over country.

I've been told replacing my exhaust will not give me any better sound or performance as it's down to the dpf

Stock turbo will make around 320hp / 720nm
So there is more to be had from your current set up
After this dpf off, hybrid turbo etc etc

BTW fit a Mann air filter don't waste money on aftermarket filters
The stock filter is perfect and saves the MAF and compressor wheel

i put a pipercross dry filter non oiled as ive been told that can kill maf

Sure but at the cost of good filtration.

I have the BITDI intercooler installed, not sure how much power if any it adds but certainly is a good idea once you are pushing the stock turbo to the max.

Where did you get the intercooler from

You can't get it anywhere in the U.S. so I got it from a website in Latvia: https://cars245.com/en/item/audi-volkswagen-8R0145805A-cooler/

If you are in Europe I'm sure you can find a used one much easier and cheaper.
