Purchased an Rns-e for my S3, need some help

purchased an rns for my 2007 s3 which has factory bose. I have access to vagcom from my work is ther any coding i need to do to 1. make it work and 2. stop thr battery from draining. any help would be appreciated

Don't connect the BOSE Wire. It will sound much better without it. Trust me I have 2 of them and it is well documented on here.

there's a disk you can use on them to show the pincode for the unit .

They do drain the battery as cars with no sat nav from the factory have a lesser amp hours battery.
You need to replace the battery for a higher amp hours unit and this will solve the battery drain.
