Puddle lights

Hi I have a a5 3.2. Does anyone know how to install the puddle lights I don't have any but I do have a groove at the bottom of the door card so was wondering if its just a simple cut out and plug in? Any help would be good thanks

You could do yourself, if not then depending on location, I could supply & fit them.

Oh really I thought it would just be a simple cut out and plug in, I'm in fleet hampshire how long would it take and how much would it cost.
