Going across the peaks for a little run,into the Peaks via Fox House, thru Hathersage, Bamford, up thru Castleton, past the Devils ****, over the top and the blue john cavern and then down into Disley then Stockport meself.

what time is a decent time to get there... not really fancying 0700 start on me day off? ;)

I'll sort out a running order in a week or so , if you fancy a lie in let me know , if you fancy a earlie run let me know.

As said though , anybody wanting to get remapped on the day need to get there 8.30.

Std Revo price's are £499 FOR 8L AND 8P there maybe a touch of discount on the day ( don't qoute me though )

The select is £149

The selct plus is £249.

Let me know ASAP if people want remapping , and let me know ASAP if peeps need to drop out!

The route in the map is a different one to the one your describing, the snake & pass is a nice road tho. May see you along the way im in Tideswell. I will be going Peakforest, Chapel, Disley

Have you sorted a running order out yet Phanton as I could do with an early run if possible, ideally I need to be leaving Prosport just before 11 as ive bit the bullet and booked my car in at the stealers to have the DSG sorted.

I had my old s3 on their rollers they are more of a jap tuning specialist, so back then they could not give me a true figure, but guess now must have sorted this out, so might pop down to see some results as its only 15 mins away from me.

They are a Subaru specialist mate , what do you mean they couldn't give you a true figure?

I went on Awesomes rollers and got " roughly " 286-296bhp ( worked out from ATW ) and 284lb/ft on a cool day.

I went on Prosports rollers to test them out , and had 3 runs on a HOT day outside temp read 24 degrees.

279/280/281bhp and 300/300/301lbft so to me they seem bang on.

This is the Prosport rollin road day running order that i have made , ive done it as scientific as poss , so all Std , remapped and 8L's run side by side.

Ive not heard from S3 Thrizzle or Kris for a while , i think there on there jollys , but will be back in time , so ive given them a slot.

Those that are on later don't have to be there for 9.ooam they can come down whatever time they wish for there run.

Could you please check your oil and water and have your towing eye ready , as it will speed things up on the day.

S3IZZO and his mate still need to get there for 8.30 as he's having a Revo.

9.00 - Mattandrew = TDI

9.20 - Phantom = S3

9.40 - S3 Thrizzle = S3

10.00 - L6ON = S3

10.20 - Mitch78 = S3

11.20 - Spin140 = GHD :)

11.40 - Spins mate = CTR

DINNER HOUR ( it may not be a hour , but ive budgeted for it anyways )

13.00 - QuickNick = S3 + GIAC Hammer

13.20 - IGGU = S3 + Blufine

13.40 - SHOROB = S3 + GIAC Hammer

14.00 - S3IZZ0 = S3 + Revo

14.20 - KRIS = S3 + GIAC Hammer

Nice. I might try to make it down, but dunno yet. Trying to get the ST3 unit for my motor, so would like before and after plots for the fast road map just to see whats happening, lol. I mean, its only
313 mi – about 5 hours 36 mins each way...(according to google)



I would confirm just now, but if there is any free time, and I can make it down, I hope there will be a slot.
 
All the mapped cars are on in the afternoon :(

This is a shame as I need to leave at 13:30 to be in Derby by 15:00 for my next TTS test drive, don't suppose you fancy a mix up if all are in agreement, ambient temps shouldn't make that much difference over the hours we are there if this is your concern.

I tend to disagree mate , i'm no weather man , but i recon temps at 9am will be different to temps at 15.00.

This way all the cars that are Std run next to each other ( to get a Std output once and for all ) and all the cars that are remapped ( in competition with each other ) run @ the same time on the same rollers on the same day ( we all want to know who gives the best gains/VFM for our £500-800 )

Plus iif its cooler in the morning the standard cars will make better power further enhancing your ego's !!! LOL.

Seriously though I understand the reasons behind the running now so I'll just have to look at the results once posted.

about 0815, probably take about 1hr or so to get there so ... you and L6ON better not organise anything together... mixed up date etc etc ;)
