Hi guys quick question that I can't work out so any advice please ?
Basically I have vibration in rear of the car between 2000 and 2500 rpm,
After much investigating and reading I have found this is more than likely the rear propshaft coupling or doughnut as it's sometimes known,
anyway I have been advised and researched this is part no febi40931 but I have also found slightly cheaper one part no
Febi40857
Please can anyone clarify why there are 2 and which one do I need for my 2005 A3 2.0 tfsi quattro?
Thanks in advanceguys

They’re both the same as they both say they fit the same Audi part number. To me it looks like the difference is that one of those febi parts comes with replacement bolts and the other probably doesn’t. I’d go for the one that comes with new bolts.
This will be your problem aswell as I changed mine 3 year ago and it’s been fine since

Hi buddy,
Thanks for clearing that up much appreciated,
This noise is driving me mad fingers crossed this is the answer,
Pretty sure it will be exactly same symptoms as everyone else that's had this issue.
Thanks again mate

Ahh ok I'm getting the rear vibration noise at 2000 to 2500 rpm all the time,
I've read up a lot and a lot of people say they have the same symptoms and the rear doghnut was the cause,
I'm putting out an extra 100bhp so prob best to do even if not the issue
