problems starting after a run

twice in two days now, my car has been an **** to start after a blat home from work down the A1, the car doesn't seem to fire up ... leave it 5 mins and it bursts into life

It starts first time in the mornings (iced up when I'd expect a car not to start)

any ideas?

ps, this is the first time it's done it me in a year of ownership

bump, anyone ... happened again yesterday after a run it's only happening after a run and the engines hot, starts first time in the mornings

someone on another forum suggested temp sensor ... ??
