Power steering noise

I have an s4 v8 2004.
Bought it with a noisy ps pump, fitted new pump yesterday, it's the same whine noise, no change!
The noise goes when fully locked over!
Does it need a rack?
Could it be the bearing on the drive of the chain?

Now it's leaking fluid.
And the fluid is foaming in the bottle!
Think the leak is from the ps lid.
Can it pull air from the cooler, or low pressure line?

Refitted ps filter in bottle, it's still foaming but not like a volcano.
Can't find any leaks?

Did you also bleed the system? Sometimes air can get trapped too. But good to hear all sorted.
