Power loss

Hi

I recently noticed a whistle like sound coming from my engine and power loss on the motorway which prevented me from travelling over 70mph. My car would also struggle if there was a slight Incline while on the motorway and the speed would drop.

Also, the engine emissions light came up on the dash board.

I took the car to the garage and had the turbo replaced but the power loss issue remains.

I purchased a diagnostic tool and found no error codes when I connected it to my car.

Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated.

That's gonna hurt if u put a new turbo on for no reason and it's a diverted valve ! Did the garage not diagnose it before fitting a new turbo ?

did you get a diagnostic printout from the garage? what did you scan your car with yourself?

What model is it? Petrol or Diesel?

I bet the car is in limp mode too.
Could be a boost leak somewhere too.
