power chip or remap?

Just wanted some opinions on whether to get an adjustable power chip or just have my 2.0 tdi remapped?? My mate has always had the strinbauer power chips which are fully adjustable, but very pricey! What do you guys think?

And also just off topic but what stud diameter are the wheels on my car? Its the 2.0 tdi 8p model!

Chips tend to simply trick the car into thinking its running cold constantly so to compensate will chuck a load of fuel in. A remap alters so much more and therefore gives the best but more importantly, safest results
