Powder coat or wrapped wheels and where?

When my S3 eventually arrives I want to get the wheels powder coated or wrapped black.

My old S3 had powder coated wheels however I've no experience of wrapping. What's the comparative difference in cost?

I'd expect powder coating to cost c. £50 per wheel. The impermanence of wrapping does appeal.

Also can anyone recommend anywhere for either in the Manchester/Lancs area? I've dealt with TWS before.

I think your confusing wrapping with dipping. I've seen plenty people hydro dipped wheels but unless your wanting a pattern of some sort eg carbon,snakeskin etc.. I'd just stick with powdercoat

Can't see wrapping working to be honest given the heat and aero turbulence going on - I'd stick with powder coating if I were you.

Go to the Wheel specialist, they have franchised national branches. They offer a 15% for TTOC members, but not sure about Audi-sport.

I've used them many times before (branch in Nottingham) and they do a great job

new ardwick body centre would charge around £50 per alloy powder coated. its close to manchester city centre. they have their work on Facebook and results look good.

there is also "vehicle wrapping manchester' around stretford manchester and they also can do alloy colour change. I personally wouldn't wrap an alloy but I'm sure they could give you more info about it.
