Just noticed over the last few days im getting an occasional wastegate flutter sound and when i park the last couple of times my dpf has been doing a regeneration or whatever its called, is this anything to worry about?

My 2012 VW Crafter on occasions when coming to a standstill from driving the idle revs instead of 750-800 are nearer 1000 ...
My cluster has one of these lights :-
But it is never on when this symptom occurs ...
My 2008 Crafter used to do the same, it never had any DPF issues in the year I owned it nor did the DPF light come on in dash ...
Perhaps a normal VAG trait
...
