My wife's new Q2. Picked up yesterday, spent all day on a proper clean and detail. Paintwork was pretty good, so I suspect the dealer hadn't spent much time cleaning it (thank God). So just a full pre-wash/wash/deiron/detar/clayed. Dried and paint inspected - no swirls of any kind, so no polishing required. So just one coat of Sonax Protect and Shine NPT. Wheels cleaned and sealed, tires with meguars. Windows polsihed with Autoglym glass polish. Inside just a wipe over with Car Pro Perl on a soft MF and that was it. Should be good for the winter. I'll top up the paint with Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer over the winter:

Few mods to be done...

Picked up my Q2 1st Edition 2.0tdi 190bhp a few days ago. Had a 1.6tdi A3 8V for a few years but needed something bigger. Just moved over to Switzerland too so the hassle of having a UK car over here wasn't worth importing a UK car. Here she is anyway, loving the VC and googlemaps integration and the 2.0 Diesel engine is a beaut. Most of the time doesn't even sound like a diesel!

Well after having a 2010 A4 which suffered from the worst Rust on the arches and I had a belt and pump change, then a 2016 A7 which was a fantastic car apart from the Diff going, and a few other niggles, like the front windows squealing, engine tinkling just to name a couple, the car was a big motor and finding it a nightmare on the school runs and jumping into spaces, it’s just far too long...

I’m now picking up this beauty on Tuesday late afternoon, traded in the A7 which we purchased for £32k and paying £2750 towards the Q5. It’s my mate who works in an Audi dealership and alerted me to this motor which had just came in for a trade in, it’s done 21k miles and is a Q5 Sline Special Edition TDi Quattro 190 PS S-Tronic in Suzuka Grey. The motor looks fantastic, has a mahoosive list of tech, and I’m getting quite a few added extras thrown in namely:
Full tank of Diesel, Audi Lightning connector, Audi Boot Liner, Auto Glym inside and out (if it’s crap with bad swirls I’ll get it properly done), Audi Roof Bars, The large service is getting done plus an Oil Change, plus he’s going to throw in something else which costs around £2-300 next year when the car goes back in for its next service. We took the Q5 out last Wednesday and although it doesn’t have the same ooomph as the A7, it will do the job of what we need it to.

The view from my bedroom window. I'm on nights this week and, being of that age, just got up for a pee. Me massive bush is blocking half the car but at least I don't have to **** about obscuring the number plate!

How does it compare to the last motor mate.

That was a 1.4 A3 so it compares quite favourably! Interior feels half a generation behind (mostly the MMI) but the exhaust sound and performance make me giggle like a naughty child every time I floor it. I like to think it is surprising a few people out on the road...

Recently sold my S3 8V Sportback and now have this Floret Silver SQ5.
It's a step back techwise also from the S3 but those artificial exhaust speakers do sound good!

Not seeing many Q2s on here so, here's mine, just under 2 weeks old and I'm loving it. It's the 35 Sport TFSi S Tronic.

Great choice! I have very fond memories of driving one of these on an Audi driving experience day. The sound and speed were amazing.

Not to long fella. TBH mate I have been having a look for something similar myself. My past broken back injuries (x 2) are catching up with me but that's another long story.
I love my S3 but there is something It's missing, doesn't seem to have the wow factor of my last one. Anyhoo, I had a go in a new X3 M Sport and was pleasantly surprised. Heading back there this weekend with the missus for another look.
