Car looks fantastic as always mate - one of the best looking S3's IMO and love the S3 Saloon in Navara with those alloys and contrasting chrome

I am, especially after almost 3 years of owning, guilty of taking my cars for granted but it does scrub up well I suppose. Goes in for it's first MOT on Saturday and I need to also take out extended warranty given that I'm now keeping it (and the TT) until next year.

I do still enjoy driving it (not as much as the S5). I have no idea what we'll replace both cars with next (may not even be Audi). One of them will need to be a towing machine though. Nothing in my price bracket is jumping out at me.

The pipes are the one bit I've no enthusiasm for tbh especially no the worse weather is upon us again - shocking I know. At least 95% fo the car was clean haha!

I'm just over 3.5 years now (the longest i have owned a car in all my life)

Quite happy also just to keep it indefinitely until something really does catch my eye.

i would leave them. I gave mine a scrub and now instead of black they look like pitted/scratched chrome. Give it enough time all 4 will be black

Washed her and took a few pictures in this cloudy, wet and grey day.

Yesterday first wash in the yard for this spring. Nice weather to do so.
Washed her with Pineline (Pineoil based solvent type stuff) to get some shine to the ceramic coating. And to revive it after not so good washings during winter.
Desperately waiting for suitable time to change to summer wheels.

Also washed under the hood. It had not been washed since new, so it was very crubby. Same Pineline used here also, but with foam lance, and then work it with a dish washing brush. It is perfect for that job.

Yep. All the chrome parts were vinyl wrapped with glossy black) Including that on a rear difuzor. )) It works fine. The only problem I have is with window trim. In one place it chipped off. I will go to a vinyl wrap studio to fix it soon .

Nope All the logo badges are bought on ebay already in black finish

Handles like a dream compared to the winters.
I have now the flush kit in spacers so the rear ones are spot on the fender.

Those will be my last pictures of the A3. Will be moving on to another vehicle in a couple of weeks.

This is so called "jahres wagen".
Last year's model, one owner, 6000km on the meter. Navigation, Webasto, ACC, Keyless entry, Matrix led head lights. And most of all, I get to drive to the office with electricity and also charge it for free at the office.
And I save around 12k€ compared to a brand new one.
