The guy couldn't wrap all of it so he wrapped the surround and the chrome slats which can be detached the back part was sprayed if that makes sense. It does look quite fiddly to wrap to be honest but has come out really good so I am happy

thanks! my nick name is selv but funnily enough have had a few s3's so been a good plate in 2 ways. Im sure a black grill will be available from audi parts soon or one will pop up on ebay in the not too long future.

its not nardo its nano. Its darker than nardo but still has a nice glossy look too it

 

ah right, yeah it has that similar wet look but darker, very nice choice, first time I've seen it properly.

I think they has some still left in the stock. The brand is VM Wheels. A replica of the original S3 19" wheel.

 

First time I've seen these lights under the door inlays. Are they standard with the S Line interior lighting pack? Or is it just with the S3? Don't see an option to upgrade? They are very nice!

Thanks Spurrellian. Always thought that was a lighter finish inlay rather than actual lights (big red face). Kind of regret not ordering this now...

They is awesome aswell I spec'd them on mine last inute and they really set the interior off nicely with the B&O lights... It's like Blackpool illuminations in my car at night

 

Picked up my FL S3 yesterday and am very pleased with her ('chuffed' as you UK lads would say ) Had a few contrasting drives that afternoon/evening: peak hour crawl in 40 degree heat to home (a/c good, stop start no issues, s-tronic smooth as silk), then a late evening blast through some local country roads where the Matrix LED's worked a treat (fascinating when you see the Matrix beams automatically adjust their spread to on-coming traffic), again S-stronic fabulous with lovely pops/farts on upshift and a lovely deep exhaust note. Handling is spot on, the S3 hugs the road and with magnetic ride and 18's is well sorted and composed even in dynamic mode. Loved the interior LED's and the Virtual Cockpit is stunning (std in Oz). Coming from an Mk7 R this is a huge step up all round Here's a few snaps (with the Aussie "euro plates" fitted):

Gave my facelift a facelift today. Loved the black pack on my navarra but wanted silver mirror caps which I think set the car off nicely now.
