Post pics of your A6/S6/Allroad (C6 Chassis)

Greetings all-
New to the group-from Pittsburgh, PA in the states- mine is a 2011 3.0T S-Line Prestige (Infamous "T" designation, representing the Supercharged Gas engine...haha) good for 300hp and 310lb/ft as well as 18mpg-and 28mpg which is very respectable over here-especially for that kind of power. This was the last year they made the A6 Avant available in the US and it is now certainly a rare thing. I get compliments from car guys in the know all the time for what I call my version of a "Sport Utility Vehicle." Traditional "SUV" with truck frames (or not) sitting up high and prancing around are still going strong here- but I know there are more who think like me- who like the utility in the back but prefer the "sport" to be in the twisties- not in the backwoods (as if they ever make it there.) If only they brought the RS6 Avant over here- I would be all over it. Also in PA- we only have rear license plates so the front stays nice and open all the time...
Cheers-
Jim

Why does US not allow Avant anymore?
Also, seen RS6 Avant video on YT and the presenter did also mentioned that this car is not available in the US. Why?

Nice looking car, must say. Colours suit this C6 platform.

Good luck with it

Nice colour, really unusual. Definitely stands out in the sun. If you don't mind, how much did cost and where did you have it done?

Hi Guys, and thank you.
I am really pleased with the result. The Colour is Roaring Thunder, its a metallic Flip which kind of goes from Blue-Purple-Magenta-Red-Bronze-Gold. It changes according to light and viewing position.
The wrap itself would retail around the £2K mark for this car. Luckily for me this is what i do for a living, so kind of happy days really. I'm located in Staffordshire.

Thanks again for the positivity, greatly appreciated.

Just had my alloys refurbed as they all had marks from when I bought it, went for a space grey colour, also had my calipers and wheel hubs done at the same time, the guy did a great job, but I'm unsure on the alloys, will see if they grow on me, if not I'll be getting them redone in silver

I think it looks good, modern. How did the guy Refurb the hubs and calipers? Did ge remove and reinstall? Also, how much did the job set you back if you don't mind?

Hubs and callipers look nice. I want get mine done in silver also.

Wheels however, would look better in silver or with silver face polish, diamond cut like. Just to keep that colours brake nicer between dark car colour, tyres and tarmac.

Thats my honest opinion.

Car looks cracking otherwise

All in it was £200 for everything, he painted the hubs in with a brush, and the wheels and calipers were sprayed

I'll see if they grow on me, the 2 tone sounds interesting though, leave the rest the colour it is but do the spokes in silver, I'm tempted to just do them in silver, but a slightly darker silver than factory

Or you can just grab a fine grid sand paper and get the paint off the face of them. Than lacquer it and should be better.

Cleaned, snow foamed, washed, polished and waxed over the weekend

There are spys everywhere now!

I got a parking ticket last week because I was parked over the white line in a parking space. The fact that there wasn't a parking space to my right, just a gateway, which I wasn't obstructing, or the fact that the Q5 in the space beside me on the left was parked right on the line didn't seem to bother them, they just gave me a ticket anyway for not being parked correctly in the bay.

Finally got around to getting my badly scuffed wheels sorted, and opted to take them a bit darker . . .
