Hi all,

Wanted to say hello - Dave here! I've used ASN a lot with general maintenance and absolutely love this site, especially the many many guides I refer to almost daily now, half the time just for social reading! :-D

This is my first post (of many hopefully) so thought it should be introducing my S3...

Lots planned in the near future including the standard stuff - full service, spark plugs...etc. Then onto the fun - FMIC, uprated clutch, Stage 2 remap. Currently running stage 1 but need more booooost! Then finally bodyshop for a good old tidy up to make it sparkle (alloys, front end, roof).

Hopefully I can help some others out the way you guys have helped me

You should definitely get yourself up there mate! I'm there most weekends now. Can't stay away lol

S3 did fine, certainly not the quickest but not the slowest either. I had fun which is most important!

My mates got a Megane too and it absolutley whooped our butts around the ring, half a minute quicker, only stage 2 280 bhp 300 torques.
Straight line myself and a friends with a 340 bhp EP3 Type R turbo were quicker, but corners the megans just ****** itself laughing at us

your right the meganes are rapid! Especially through the corners and so are the clios! It was a similar situation at knockhill, meganne was quicker through the twisty stuff but I was pulling away on the straights.

Got my car 4 wheel aligned (again) this time to my spec. Thanks to you guys for your suggestions. Then did a serious detailing on the outside.

Using two bucket method and about 7 microfibre clothes

Collinite No. 845 insulator wax (two coats)

Tinted taillights - rice or nice? I think this time I pulled it off. Also car yells for some low but the roads here are soo bad I can't do that since I daily the car. it looks like a buggy from behind with those huge J10 rims lol

Damn those wheels, personally i would put the rings back on and get the tail lights back to red.
