Well after a couple of years away playing with TTs and an S3, now I'm back with a A3 2.0 tdi facelift model, bit more practical!

How how how Amy videos or articles you read to achieve this I need to know !!!!!
There was more effort to make the kit work as it is generic, with door modules and BCM, then getting the look and behaviour. I had to look at some basic electronics concepts again and used my diy skills for the most part, along with workshop manuals. A lot of trial and error, could only do on my own car.

Looks incredible! Did you do a similar lighting set up in the rear doors as well? I've been considering putting them under the chrome trim myself.

How long u had to wait for delivery
It was within two weeks. I think item arrived in 10 days then it took 2 days to receive letter from local depot for customs charge and it was delivered next day after payment.
AliExpress Standard Shipping always delivers within 2 weeks from dispatch day in my experience apart from one item that was lost (no tracking update) for a month in Netherlands. Headlights came via Netherlands also but total time was 10 or 11 days to arrive local depot from the Dispatch time! 3/4 days from order to dispatch.

Rear and front parking retrofit done (Aliex kit)
Waiting for spring time to do full paint correction + ceramic or wax.
Rotors need to be refurbished, thinking of satin black spokes + cnc'd spoke ends and rim combination (same as on picture).

Bought this one a few months ago now. Was highly in doubt to either get te hatchback or saloon. Went for the hatchback as I sometimes need the extra space.
Always been a A3 driver.. I've owned a 8L, many 8P's and finaly it was time for the 8V. In love with the virtual cockpit.. couldn't believe I finally got one :).

Many mods/retrofits in mind.. Apple CarPlay (currently busy), HBA mirror, front parking sensors (maybe in combination with PLA), side assist, interior ambiance lighting.. etc...

A3 2017 MY 8V 3x S-Line 1.5 TFSI (DSG and ECU Stage2++ tuned by TVS Engineering)

Thanks mate!

Did not had it on a dyno so nothing 'official' but the tuner told me it should be around 190PK (thats around 185BHP).
I dont want to push the 1.5 that much, I bought it because I want a nice specced car and not a gas slurping racemonster, would rather get me a 8P RS3 (love the 8P model, I have a weakness for the 8P..) haha :)

But cause of the DSG it's a speedy thing. Only thing I would love to have done is to get a new clutch as this is an ex-lease. With other words, previous owner probably was not as carefull with it as I am with it. I can feel there is space for a bit more improvement in clutch for the first few seconds I press the pedal. Next to that no remarks, car drives spot on after I've let it tune, excellent job and super happy with it.

190ps is a good round number for any car. I agree on the 8P, its a timeless model IMO and still turns heads today. Never say never :thumbs up:
