Took my S3 out for a blast tonight. Average 12.5mpg as opposed to my usual 30/35 motorway mpg... so I was clearly enjoying myself.
Hello all from the states, Joined the forum back when I was researching the S3. Made the order for the car on 12/26. Took delivery April 12th (Out west). Swapped out the wheels as I did not like the ones that came with the black optics package (figure I can use them for snow tires when I move). I also added ceramic tints (40%) to help protect the leather from all the California sun. Got all that done the first week or so and gave her the ever-so-careful first wash! Really happy with the color and how the car drives! Now its time to tweak some codings with VCDS and all will be right with the car...
Cheers mate, we are a rare breed us non facelift owners lol, my car has eventually been booked in for a service for May 8th just so l can get the family discount as Jordan starts with BMW this Monday, it also needs a back left rear tyre it's virtually bald, but the other rear has 3 mm at least.... Like l said awhile ago my car is harder on the left side with tyres than the right side.... Very strange, so just going to replace one tyre on Friday

hmmm i see, brand new transporter van with the 7speed auto, 4motion with lockable diffs aye getting near now, went into prep last thursday with a build date of 8th may, will make a thread when it comes haha
