Poor MPG help

So 2 months ago I was getting 60mpg and now only 43mpg
Thats roughly 135/140 miles to £20 diesel compared to 90 odd now

Any thoughts onto why ??
My driving style hasnt changed at all and its only 100bhp model so you can hardly floor it anyway.

run a scan and check the MAF also is the temp gauge working ok ?

I have the same engine in my b6 and average 47 round town on a run its anywhere between 55 and 60 depending on speeds

This is worked out at each fill up and not with the Dis although my dis is pretty much spot on since I altered it in vcds

yeah i have the 100bph and on a run would haply do over 700 miles to a tank iv clocked once saying i had 705 left and had already done 62 miles so 767 to a tank not that helps you any ;-)

I have never had better than 43mpg on the DIS but mine is a 1.9tdi Quattro sport avant so a little heavier.

are you saying 20 pounds used to get you 135/140 miles and is now doing just 90 miles on 20 pounds as thats what it reads like to me in your post if so thats easy the price has gone up on diesel so you would need to put say 30 in now if iv read your post wrong then mybad
