Hi all

Have a few light scratches in clear coat and am looking out of window thinking the stars may be aligning and just maybe a full clear day weather wise will be on cards soon so want to get some polish/compound to use with DA to tidy up, can you recommend any? Cheers

I picked up some farecla "scratch remover" paste from halfords, £8 i think or thereabouts, hope to get it on the scratches tomozz if weather, and shmbo, permits:)

Depends how hard your paint is, always start with the least aggressive method first light polish with light polishing pad and see how you get on.

I had some scratches on mine that didn't budge and took an extra heavy cut polish and heavy cut pad to remove them. Just finished the car today.

Scholl Concept Polishes and Chemical Hexlogic Pads. These products work really well with a DA

Use Meguiars swirl remover, its very gentle and applied carefully by hand (if you don't have a DA machine) it will remove fine surface scratches and swirls.
