For those of you who haven't been following the blood, sweat and tears in the blog in our section, here's the abridged version. This detail took 6 weeks, and was the most testing yet...

Process

Thorough clean, using industrial vacuums and floor cleaners
All walls painted with masonary paint, all woodwork glossed
Partition wall erected, taped and sanded
Thorough clean again
Partition wall painted, all woodwork glossed
New hoselock tap installed, plumbing system checked
Electrics checked, RCD devices installed
Physical security massively upgraded
Remotely monitored alarm system installed
Racedeck-style floor installed
Industrial racking bought and erected in stockroom
Fixtures and fittings upgraded/added throughout
Furniture bought and erected in office and detailing studio
Final thorough clean and finishing touches

Total work time: 6 weeks

Excellent stuff up there. An amazing transformation that is the foundation of the future. It's been strange not seeing the WX51 handle on the forums for a while. Glad you're back.

And yes, get back to ****** work.:)

Very very nice!!!!

Looks amazing....i'm jealous now...i want that unit, just to do my own work in ha ha ha!!

May i ask if that flooring is expensive? And if you dont mind, roughly how much did it cost you to do the whole floor?

Thanks in advance!
